FERPA & COPPA Aligned
We never sell or distribute student information. For students under the age of 13, we adhere to COPPA guidelines through your district's existing consent process. Before we begin, we sign a Data Privacy Agreement (DPA). It meets the FERPA criteria. It also covers state privacy laws, such as SOPPA in Illinois and AB 1584 in California.
CIPA-Compliant Deployment
We set each device to function with your existing content filter, not to replace it. Your CIPA policy is enforced at the device level. Students can’t get around it with a VPN or proxy, even off campus.
Certified Data Destruction
Every retired device has its data deleted according to federal NIST 800-88 requirements. You receive a Certificate of Destruction to preserve in your FERPA records, which is exactly what your district's legal staff will request. The R2/RIOS standard for responsible electronics disposal governs the recycling of physical devices.
